Semester reflection
I can honestly say I got a lot out of this class. I have always considered myself to be a creative individual. I am terrible at math, and understanding numerical issues. That being said, I have always had an ability to create. When I was a kid I would make homemade action figures out of things like pipe cleaners and tin foil. I would take a wooden spoon and some pots/ pans out of the kitchen and pretend I was playing drums. I loved classes like art, woodshop, and history that introduced me to new abstract concepts. To this day I still buy and build legos (yeah I know, I am a nerd). At the beginning of the semester I came into the class not knowing what to expect. I thought the class was going to consist of writing stories and poetry (which it did), but did not realize that it would help me connect a few pieces that I did not know I was missing. I suppose the best way to explain myself is like this. Imagine you are eating a new food, or you smell something and it's super familiar....
